A few things worth knowing.
Clear answers, so you know what these tools can—and cannot—do.
Do I need to sign up or pay?
No. All six tools are free and available without an account. No payment step or subscription is part of the plugin. You only need a browser with JavaScript enabled for generating a result.
Does PrayersPulse calculate exact prayer times?
No. You enter every clock time yourself. The time planner sorts and adds durations to those entries, and the reminder planner repeats them on selected dates. Neither uses astronomy, your location or a live timetable.
Can I choose my own tradition and prayer names?
Yes. The tradition field is optional and free-text. Prayer names and journal words are supplied by you. The site does not validate practices, compare religions or prescribe a prayer sequence.
What is the difference between the time and reminder planners?
The time planner organises one civil day and checks the durations you enter for overlaps. The reminder planner repeats supplied clock times across up to 31 days and can create an .ics calendar file with optional lead-time alarms. Neither adjusts times as a local timetable changes.
Are phone notifications sent automatically?
No. This site does not request notification permission or run background alarms. Import a reminder calendar file into an application you control, verify its event times and enable alerts there. Calendar applications can ignore alarms or handle floating times differently.
Where are my entries processed and stored?
Tool entries are processed only in the active browser page. The plugin does not send them to a server, use local storage or save them in a cookie. Ordinary hosting logs can still record requests, and other WordPress plugins have their own behaviour. Downloads and printouts are stored wherever you choose to keep them.
What happens if I reload or close a page?
There is no built-in recovery or saved account. Treat reloading, navigating away, resetting or closing the page as clearing the current plan. Some browsers may restore form fields through their own history features; use a private device and close the session after sensitive work.
Can I save a PDF or a text file?
Yes. Build a result, then use Print / Save PDF to open the browser print dialog. Choose a printer or a PDF destination supported by your browser. Download text creates a UTF-8 .txt file locally. Saving or sharing a file is your choice and may reveal the private information it contains.
Will a blank optional field appear in my result?
No. Blank optional fields are omitted rather than filled with guessed content. Entirely blank prayer rows are ignored. A partly filled row must include the required name and, where needed, time and duration; the form will explain what needs attention.
Does the journal generate or interpret prayer text?
No. It only arranges your own writing into labelled sections. It does not contact an AI model, rewrite your words, interpret emotions or assess a prayer’s meaning. Any spiritual or personal interpretation remains yours.
Can I use the tools on a phone or with a keyboard?
The layout adapts to small screens and uses labelled form fields, native buttons, visible focus and keyboard-operable menus. Long results remain on the page. Printing, file handling and calendar import depend on the capabilities of your browser and device.
What does completion mean in the tracker and habit planner?
It means the number of checkboxes you marked divided by the number of planned entries, rounded to a whole percentage. It is a planning record only. It does not measure devotion, religious validity, spiritual value or an obligation fulfilled.
Why does a calendar reminder show the previous date?
Subtracting the lead time can move a reminder before midnight. For example, a 00:05 prayer with a 10-minute lead time produces a reminder at 23:55 on the previous date. The prayer event itself remains on the date you planned.
Can I edit a result or fix an error?
Edit the original fields and build again to regenerate the result. This clears checkboxes in the previous generated tracker or habit sheet. After changing inputs, export controls are hidden until you rebuild, so you do not accidentally download an out-of-date plan. Reset clears the current page, not files or events you already saved.
How can I report a site problem?
